  2.          ME AND MY COMMODORE

  6.     My first computer was a Commodore
  7. 128. I really wanted a Commodore 64
  8. (which my cousin had), but it was
  9. Christmas 1985 and my brother was
  10. older. Thus, he convinced my parents
  11. into getting the Commodore 128.
  12.  
  13.     I was upset for all of half a day.
  14. On December 26, 1985, I played B.C.'s
  15. Quest for Tires on our brand new
  16. Commodore 128. The only time I spent
  17. on a Commodore 64 was when I was at my
  18. cousin's or when I switched into C64
  19. mode from my C-128.

  21.     Actually, that's not quite true.
  22. In 1992 or so, I bought a C64C for the
  23. hell of it and used that for awhile
  24. (until I accidentally spilled
  25. Coca-Cola all over the keyboard,
  26. frying the internal chips). I then
  27. convinced my father to plunk down $200
  28. for a used Commodore 128D, and never
  29. went back.
